Great campground with friendly helpful staff. Everything was very clean and lovely. We had a snap of cold wet weather and were glad to have a nice visitor's center and a couple of restaurants to check out. The bathrooms were warm and bright and clean and easy to walk to. Our site (A26) faced the woods and was so pretty in the morning and evening. We had noisy neighbors who played music all day (even into quiet time) and the ranger was quick to resolve. 10/10, would come back.

Todo excelente recomiendo mucho hacer reservacin para bastantes das porque es el campground ms grande y por estar a la mitad del parque es el ms accesible a muchos destinos muy bonitos para visitar. Durante mi estada todo estuvo perfecto.

Todo excelente recomiendo mucho hacer reservación para bastantes días porque es el campground más grande y por estar a la mitad del parque es el más accesible a muchos destinos muy bonitos para visitar. Durante mi estadía todo estuvo perfecto.

We enjoyed our visit. The campsite and restrooms was clean. The rangers at the lodge were helpful when we were planning hikes.

Weather was a little chilly the first day, but after that it improved. Potable water access was somewhat limited. The fountain nearest my site wasn't functional, which required me to walk a little further up the hill to the next Comfort Station to fill my water jugs.

Big Meadows campground provided everything expected and more. Bathrooms were clean and well attended and the water sources worked well and were tidy. The camp site was just like what it looked like online. There was room enough for two cars and two large sized tents with a great fire pit and relatively new picnic bench. The surprise bonus for us was how large the bear box (locked container) was, which resulted in us being able to put all of our supplies in the box and not having to put anything back into our cars overnight.

Nice campground close to alot of great hikes. The only downside we found was the shower times. I'm sure it is Covid related, but the coin operated showers were only available from 9am until 5pm. We usually like to be at the trailheads early and stay out until dark but these operating hours made that impossible.
