Right in the middle of the length of Skyline Drive, so a great spot for exploring! Really nice campground.

Stayed at D164. Perfect size for a 6 person tent, a large table and 2 rocking chairs with plenty of room to move around. The site is also walking distance from the bathroom which is always a plus! The ground is at a very slight slant so the positioning of your sleeping bag and mat is crucial to getting a good nights sleep. (At least for us) Other than that, everything else was great.

Our family had a terrific week at Big Meadows! The park is beautiful and clean. Campground facilities are clean. The nearby visitor center and restaurant at the Lodge were convenient bonuses for staying at Big Meadows. Also thankful that ranger programs have been resumed.

We keep coming back to this place year after year. Campsites are usually well looked after, although this year our spot was a little over grown. Luckily, we were able to move to a new site and it was tons better.
