Overall, the campground is set in a nice location and the staff was very nice. I do have some complaints/points of feedback, however. We camped on a E loop site - none of the water stations on the E loop were working. There was also a substantial amount of dead standing trees, including one directly over our tent site, which is quite the risk in windy conditions such as those we experienced with intermittent storms. The showers also need improving; at $5 for 10 minutes, I don't think they are accurate. It seems that, if someone before you turns off the water prior to the 10 minutes ending, any coins you put in after have no effect on the time of shower remaining. For example, my wife and I put all of our coins in and only received ~2 minutes of shower time. Various other campers complained similar, or no water at all, while we were there as well.

The Shenandoah National Park is enthralling. The hikes, the views, and the amenities are fantastic. The memories will last a lifetime.

Camping spots are a bit close together, and mine wasn’t very level, but other than that all was good. I was only there for one night, arrived after dark and left early the next morning, so my experience there was very limited.
