Camp grounds were nice. Laundry facility was a bonus. Needs some paved biking trails. Not much to do except hike.

We had an amazing experience staying here for two nights with our pup! Very clean facilities and delicious food available at the restaurant when we couldn't get the fire pit to work for us. Hiking to Lewis falls was an amazing experience, highly recommend!

Big Meadows campground is one of our favorite places to camp. It is always so peaceful and relaxing. There are many hikes to take and the Visitor Center is always helpful to find the best one suited for you. I am concerned that the campground is not being mowed as much as it has in the past. We have been several times this year and the grass is very long.

Nice RV campground. No utilities- has a dump station. Sites are wooded with limited ability to use solar. AT trail is connected to campground as well as other trails. Showers are super expensive ($10), and in my opinion at least one a day should be included in the cost of your spot (similar to what Yellowstone does). There is a laundromat with a box to share items with people through hiking the AT. Nearby is a lodge- the porch is great for watching sunsets. You can eat in the restaurant or in the pub downstairs. Try the berry ice cream at the pub.This location is convenient to a ranger station with gift shop. The gift shop has a range of camping supplies. There is back in RV parking at the Ranger Station. Rangers were super helpful at recommending trails.

We have camped here many times. The only flaw this time was that the closest men's toilet was out of order.

Very nice campground. Enjoy going there several time each year. Stayed in A92 a few weeks ago and believe the campground needs to work on slowing down the people that are driving way above the posted speed limit. There are a great deal of kids playing and crossing the roads throughout the campground. Please people slow down!

Shenandoah National Park is fantastic. Campsites at Big Meadows are great. I have camped there many times. The facilities are clean and accessible. Anywhere along Skyline Drive the overlooks are beautiful and scenic and many hikes to choose from.

Loved this campground! Amenities are very close by (gas, food, gift shop, ice, wood, camp store, and visitor center) all located at the entrance. The showers are extremely well kept. The sites are spacious for large tents (in summer) our site was secluded from others which we prefer.

We had a great time at Shenandoah National Park and Big Meadows Campground. This campground was clean, quiet, and had well situated lots with shrubbery and trees separating the lots. However, there was no cell service.

This is a very good campground. Very quite and clean. Trails are inside camp. The cellular signals does not exist on the site, but it is available at the visitor center. Water is available at the dump station.

Great camp site w shade and privacy...only downside was noisy late night neighbors one night out of four. Really helpful ranger staff. Hike to Rose River as magical as ever but several nice hikes within walking distance from campground as well. Love coming to this campground!
