Great spot to get outdoors and camp! Good privacy without being too deep woods and have all the amenities nearby.

Beautiful walk in tent spot. Lots of tents around but still felt like we had a nice private area. Bathrooms nice a clean and the other campers were quiet overnight.

Clean, well regulated. Good spacing between sites. Bear boxes for food and picnic table all clean.

The campground is very well managed and in a beautiful location. Centrally located to many hiking trails and outdoor experiences, but also has a store, restaurant, and exhibits. Tons of things for families to do. I've camped here most every summer for fifteen years, and hope to continue to do so!

We stayed at walk-in site 038 for 4 nights. I loved the walk-in site because we weren't on top of our neighboring campers, and we enjoy not being directly next to RVs. There was plenty of space to spread out our tent, hammock, canopy, and still have plenty of room around the fire ring. Had enough room for a small second tent, if needed. The bathroom could have been cleaned more often, but it was acceptable. Easy walk from the campsite. I did have cell service at the campsite (Google Fi, using T-Mobile towers I believe), but Verizon did not have service at the campsite.

The first night my experience was excellent! However, on the second night of my stay there was a lot of loud commotion that lasted until approximately 4 oclock in the morning. This was very disturbing as I could not sleep because of it. Why would this be allowed to occur? If I return I would never reserve a spot on the opposite side of the campground from where the rangers quarters are located. I was in site # 38 and would never want that site or any site near it again! I have stayed in a lot of campgrounds and this was the noisiest commotion I have ever heard! To be honest the noise was so loud that I did not sleep At all that night.. This definitely was the worst camping experience I have ever had!

Well managed campground. Highly recommend walk-to sites which are no more than 100 yards from parking area.
