First time camping for a few days in this campground. It was great. When we arrived it was full, and I was wondering what that would sound like, but it was fairly quiet during the days and the nights was extremely quiet. The amenities are amazing, and the showers/bathrooms are clean. Great proximity to many hikes also. I only wish it wasn't so popular b/c we wanted to go back for another few days in October but it was all booked up. Oh well, we'll try again next year.

Excellent Site. Off the roads, back in the trees a bit. Shielded from the wind.

Huge campground. All the fountains were off when I went. Campsite slightly slopey, but otherwise very solid campground.

Big Meadows is awesome. The facilities were all clean and in good shape, my tent site was great, the program about the CCC during WWII was interesting, the Visitors Center exhibits about local history are well-done, and it all seemed well-run. I loved being there.

We loved big meadows campground. It was easy to navigate and they have everything you need from firewood-food-gas, we didn’t have to leave the National park our whole stay. Bathrooms were well maintained & clean. Also the campsites were clean and set up nicely. We will definitely be back !
