Really nice little campground tucked away from the world. No cell reception, but that was perfectly fine with me. Bathrooms were really nice. Campsites were spread out. Park Ranger came by to inform us about a guided hike in the morning. Overall, it was one of the better camping experiences Ive had.

We had an amazing time! The campsite was beautiful and well maintained!

Lovely campground with flush toilets and bear boxes. The boxes are great, big enough to fit a medium sized yeti. Easy drive up to the Sherman tree along generals highway. The trail heat at the campground has a nice rest home for the kiddos with waterfalls and a longer more strenuous one with numerous switchbacks and lots of elevation gain for more experienced hikers.

Nice spot to start your adventures. Good camp privacy relative for a National Park. Clean bathrooms.

Great place as a base camp to go to the rest of the park. Camp host Mark Barton was great too. Very courteous and friendly.

Fairly private campsites. Loved the roar of the river nearby, with access to it via behind site #14. Close to Three Pines and a great trail leading from the campground.

Great experience. The park rangers were very friendly. I would highly recommend this camp ground to anyone visiting sequoia National park.

I loved my site but a huge group of campers had a party with flashing lights and loud music until late until the night. I would have gone up into the mountains instead in hopes that wouldnt happen. Terrible night of sleep with noise.

We loved this campground! Campsites are spacious with soft terrain, a picnic table, and a bear locker (there ARE bears in the area!). In the evening there was a very nice organized activity (a presentation on bats). The toilets were clean and had running water. Woke up at 4 am because something (an animal?) made some car alarms go off.

November camping trip - our space was very clean and spacious, the bathrooms were clean and we had friendly neighbors. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Great campground. Well managed and felt safe the entire time. Good space between sites and it's close to a river (across the street) that is beautiful and refreshing. If you're going during the summer it'll get hot but the river cools you off during the day. The nights are still warm so just plan for minimal layers when you're sleeping. The restrooms were clean and close enough to most camp sites. Every site has a bear box. We'd definitely book this again!!
