The campground was very nice but I wouldnt camp here again unless it was the only option to make my itinerary work. Site 19 was nice and a perfect distance from the restroom but the sites on one side of the site couldnt see the path to the bathroom between sites and cut through the site to the path from 19. Understandable but while some people were considerate, others cut right through up to the picnic table. Also, I think people who havent made reservations and dont want to leave the park assume they will find space at Potwisha. I noticed an RV circling the campground multiple times before they took an unoccupied space. Im not sure how that situation worked out but I woke up to find a camper van whose occupants decided that my site was available to them and parked behind me in the middle of the night. Not cool. Maybe signage for the bathroom and a large campground full sign might help.

Great time with great weather, the cam site was clean, plenty of shade, and close to the bathroom.

Quiet, clean, friendly staff. Restrooms are clean and well maintained.

Rangers were awesome, especially Christine (Christie?) at the Foothill station. She was taking nothing but flack from people who didn’t know it would be impossible to travel from Foothill to the Giant Forest, and she kept an awesome attitude and made sure we made the most of our stay in Potwisha with some great hikes usually bypassed in favor of the trees. Thanks for everything.

It’s a decent campsite but not as nice as Lodgepole campground.

The campground is in a pretty good location and was quiet. The sites were mostly spread out and the proximity to the creek was perfect! Unfortunately, the bathrooms were not clean and the campground was lacking a host (likely due to Covid). Additionally, many people were ignoring the fire ban and it took until our second night for a ranger to come by and fix the negligence problem. This campground is quite hot during the day in summer months, find a way to stay cool!

A wonderful campsite with the sound of the river so loud and peaceful that you couldn't hear your neighbors. The trees were blooming and the mule deer grazed in this area often. One of my favorite camping experiences this time of year!

The Park is beautiful and well managed. It snowed the first morning we after we arrived. The next day, The weather was Sunny Spring perfect: deep green grass covering the entire meadow area and colorful, budding trees, Cote de Azur skies and warm weather. All in all, very special.

The campground was clean, and we got to see two deer in our campsite in the morning. Very relaxing location, and there was a stream nearby that provided a delightful noise to the ambiance.
