Beautiful camp site. Neighbors are a little close, but that's most campsites in a national park. Nice hikes nearby without having to get in the car. Beautiful creek.

I thought this campground was very charming and it was a great location. At the bottom of the mountain the weather was great. The ground squirls were hilarious and I even saw a buck when I woke up in the morning. The bathrooms are clean and there are flushing toilets but there is no shower also some of the paths leading to a bathroom run straight through some of the sites. You can go to another campground to take a shower which is nice but this is the reason this campground is not a full 5 stars.

GOod site. As others said it is pretty hot here so try and find a spot with shade. The spots on the right are up against a hill so even ground is tough. The best sites are 18 and 20 right along the river. There are some generators going though from a couple of RVs. Overall good with clean and plentiful bathrooms.

The site was properly flat. Restrooms were clean. I hiked the trail towards marble falls, beautiful spot.

I think overall, it was a good experience. I do wish that I would've been advised that camp fires would not be allowed however. We stopped and bought firewood on the way up under the impression that we were gonna roast marshmallows that evening (a staple of the camping experience) and when we came into the park, the ranger advised that they were not permitted due to there being a lot of dry brush. I totally get that it creates a hazard but the language I read in my email kind of made me thought it would be permitted. I think it would be a good idea to advise visitors ahead of time so they don't make the same mistake I did and buy/bring unnecessary items.

Excellent experience! Amazing river, great views. Do be warned that site 3 is small and better suited for a couple.

Size of this particular campsite was very small. Had space for only one tent for 2 person. Campsite was not levelling. It was so tilted that we kept rolling inside the tent.

Quiet. Plenty a space between sites. Lots of deadfall for the fire. Not as crazy as the Valley

Pleasantly surprised with excellent hikes to Marble Falls and Paradise Creek with pleasant drive to snow and Big Trees.

Our site didnt have any shade, so it was very hot. I wasnt aware of the temperature in this area, completely different than some miles away in the Sequoia NP!

Great site inside Sequoia NP. We were there in May so there were no hosts at the site but checked in at the park entrance without any problems.

Although the sites are pretty close to one another, the trees manage to give you enough intimacy. The location is pretty convenient to drive up to visit the park (general sherman tree, crystal cave, tunnel log, etc.). You can also walk across the street to go for a swim in the river, which is great on hot summer days! Great campground!
