Nice bathroom, easy location to setup a tent, nice dedicated area to park your car. Very close to trash, recycling, and bathroom. I just wish there were showers at this location.

Campground host (Huck King)was awesome! Sites could be marked better and cleaned up a little.

Great location, clean bathrooms, and hiking trail on site. Bug spray and citronella candles are a must!

Stayed at site 39 at Potwisha in mid-March 2021. The campgrounds were in good condition, but there was no camp host or anyone to check-in with. Four stars instead of the full five since our site was missing a firepit and had a "Site Closed" sign on the post even though we booked this site months in advance. We continued to stay there without a problem. The amenities are great - clean bathrooms well stocked with TP, a sink for washing pots/pans, potable water. The potable water spout at our site was missing the handle, but luckily the neighboring site at 40 was working fine. The campground had a friendly herd of deer, a couple of turkeys, and other critters roaming about. A convenient 45 minutes from General Sherman, it's definitely worth it to stay here! We took a walk around and sites 16, 17, 18, and 19 looked amazing with lots of space, minimal neighbors, and close to the creek with lovely bubbling sounds to lull you to sleep.
