Everything about the campsite was as described. It did the job and we had a great time. Only problems were the wasps (bring repellent!) and that there was no warning that we couldn't use the fire pits online so we brought firewood, only to find out we can't use it. Fun time, lots of wildlife on the campgrounds.

The campground facilities are poor. Old cramped washrooms, relatively few truly flat spots in each site to pitch a tent. The campground does not appear to get much care considering it is in a very popular national park. Washrooms are cramped and old. One of the toilets nearest our site was plugged and inoperable for most of a day which is a problem when the campground is full. Overall it has the feel of an overflow campground for use only when others in the park are unavailable

The unmanaged tree branches weee obstructing the full access to the site#4. I was forced to park on excessive slopes. Horrible management of the sites.

This was sadly the only bad experience of all campgrounds we did (Meeks bay Lake Tahoe, Upper Pines Yosemite, San Simeon Washburn, Big Sur Campground). The space was not level and too narrow. There was nobody there. The bees/wasps over there are a real plague. No campfires were allowed. Overall a poor management of the locations Im afraid to say.

Its a very crowded campground in the sense that all the campsites are pretty small and close together. Theres only one bathroom, but that bathroom was clean and well maintained. People were loud throughout the night and the campground was completely full.

This is a lovely site at the entrance to the park but is some way from the 'main attractions'. Being at a lower elevation it was hot but there is some tree cover. There was (rightly) a fire ban when we visited but several campers were either ignoring it or were not aware (not sure how as signs are pretty clear on each picnic table) - perhaps a large 'no fires' sign at the entrance would help. Not too much presence from Rangers so back up to the signs was limited.

Nice, basic campground with friendly staff. It was quiet in October.

30 people in 2 campsites next to us. Loud music until midnight, generators running past 9pm and unfortunately nothing changed after we talked to them. Talked to the rangers next day. They ensured us that the group would leave this day. They didnt. Another evening, same problem. They didnt follow the campground rules and nobody was there to check.

Great campground in the park. I only have two observations of opportunities for improvement. 1. Bear box was absolutely filthy.2. Site was not level and made sleeping well in my van tricky.
