An amazing campground with amazing views of the stars. Has a very cold and refreshing big pool of water to swim in too! Only complaint is the bugs! A resident bear lives there too but it is still scared of humans, just yell at it to scare it away. Would definitely go back

The site was beautiful, unfortunately the water had run out but that was fine because we were expecting that and brought our own. The first night was wonderful. Respectful neighbors, its what you hope you find. The second night was hell- loud music and partying till about 4:00 am in the morning ruined the night. The host was nowhere to be found all evening and all night. The only thing the host was there for was collecting your money and then he was gone. Another unfortunate sign of the times is the amount of trash that is thrown on the road leading to the campground- people literally empty the equivalent of a truck bed on the side of the road and it just stays there. Sad. Other than that, the people we ran into on the road and the sites like the 100 Giants were friendly, caring and polite. A county inspector even stopped to help us with local directions and info- never find that in LA. Highly recommend but be prepared for the inevitable miscreants that infest the planet.

The campsite was clean and the area was gorgeous even though it still looks charred from the last fire, only thing that was negative is that there was a sign at the bottom of the hill off the main road that said “camp wishon gate closed” and at night on the way there it was a bit nerve wrecking that we not be able to enter after driving 4.5 hours
