I camp spot 21. Located. Great. Shade and. Walking distance to bathroom and source of water and river. But if you want the best spot. Next to river then spot 22 is the one to try to get.

I really like this campground. Very close to the river and only occasional road noise. The bathrooms were pretty ripe during this trip though, not sure why it was worse than normal.

Very good experience. Campsite close to river and nice sound. Camp host very attentive and helpful.

My experience at sandy flat campground was perfect. The whole campsite was well kept, saw some other sites that I would like to return to stay at. Bob was a very nice and helpful camp host. I’m sure this place gets packed during summer as it’s a perfect place to stay and enjoy the river.

Enjoyed the closeness to the river, hot springs, grocery store, and variety of hiking trails. Unfortunately the campground and surrounding area had a lot of litter. Would not camp in this area again.
