nice access to river. You can hear the cars at night off the 178. picnic tables at each camp site are completely beaten and need replacing 10 years ago. camp site we were at 19 - had enough flat room for 10x10 tent max.

Very nice campground but site 19 is a nice site if you have no kids. Site is on a slope dont recommend for kids or anyone with bad knees. Camp host Kenny was very nice we had reserved site 17,18 and 19 which are not the best sites but he manage to move us to site 33, 32 and 28 which were better because we were close to day use area. Mid July is very hot and windy. We didnt use any sweater nor blankets it was super hot. Plan accordingly

The camp host Kenny was absolutely the best part about this campground! He made sure we were comfortable and kept the camp clean. Drinking water was great...a little heavy on the traffic noise... not a whole lot to do in the area... but we had fun. Beware of hike-in camping spots...a little treacherous!!

Beautiful site! Gorgeous river valley. Bathrooms are disgusting and not maintained, which made the stay uncomfortable.

I wish there was more information about the fire hazards and restrictions and the customer service contact for questions

The Grounds keeper was really cool, let us switch sites upon arrival to accommodate the older mom we had with us, because we didn't know that the site we booked was up the hill from the parking and hard to get to for elderly or small children. Was super rad. Not crowded in October. Not too cold if you are dressed right. Some people party, others doing family time but everyone is respectful and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful or convenient site just minutes away from the town Lake Isabella where my dad lived (RIP Greg "Woody" Alsup") and just one jump over to the amazing Hot Springs at Hobo Campground next door. Defiantly check it out. Just be safe in the river, for it is always changing and will take you if you are not careful. Cheers!
