Great river access and the campground host is very friendly

This spot was perfect for a spot to unplug and reconnect with nature. There is a state highway close to the camp, but it doesnt generate much noise. Site 13 offers a hammock-able spot, shade, close access to a water spigot, and is within walking distance of the vault toilets. Kenny the host was very kind. I suggest traveling into the Lake Isabella area and checking out the local scenery too. Just 5 minutes outside camp you can reach cell reception. I will DEFINITELY be returning.

Sandy flat camp ground was absolutely amazing. The man checking us in and how had wonderful service and helped me fix a broken tent leg.

Beautiful campground, access to River, but loud and noisy camp neighbors.
We come to camp to hear nature, camping is not about blaring techno all night long - music was so loud it echoed so all could hear. Leave your subwoofers at home and open your ears to the sounds of nature which can be more relaxing than trying to sleep at a club. Respect the outdoor aspect of camping and recognize others might not like your music.
