Great campground, although the 10pm silent time was not respected

The Stony Creek campground is located in the Sequoia National Forest between Sequoia NP and King's Canyon. It is perfectly situated to see both parks. The drive to the end of King's Canyon from the campground is a little over an hour and the drive to Hospital Rock from our campground was also a little over an hour. We stayed one night in a regular site and two nights in a group site. All the sites are very generous and have room for multiple tents. However, the group site does allow you to park more than one car easily. On the regular site, you will be charged an extra $8 for an extra car. The camp hosts were very nice and the bathrooms with pit toilets were kept well stocked with toilet paper and were cleaned regularly.

Good campsite, clean and well maintained. Had an amazing stay worth camping here again.

We had a site booked online. Got a confirmation email. Checked our email 6 hours before arriving at the campground. When we arrived, the camp host told us the campground was closed and we couldn't camp there. He did kindly help us find a different spot at a different campground, but it was not a great experience overall. They should tell you in advance that your campsite is unavailable!

The restrooms are clean but there are not sinks or showers.

The restrooms are kind of terrible and after they clean it the smell of ammonia takes over everything and it’s hard to breathe the toilet bowls were always filthy and covered in fecal matter But overall the experience was good if I could suggest any changes it would just be better cleaning of the toilets and possibly a sink
