Beautiful location. Our spot was great until the neighbors setup in a spot directly behind us. A member of their group set a tent up less than 10 yards behind our tent and snored like a BEAR all night. They had a yapping dog and a toddler as well that needed attention (temper tantrums not addressed). The Staff however was great. Easy to talk to.

My family and I (total of about 35 ppl) reserved 7 sites and drove from San Diego to enjoy a long weekend camping. We were not happy they informed us the day we arrived that we had to exit the campground on Monday July 24th at 6am. We had received an email about the notification but said no time to check out so we thought we could stay until Monday and exit around 10am-11am but not it wasnt the case. So we all ended up packing and leaving dad on Sunday afternoon. Such a long drive for one full day camping. Not happy. Just glad we got refunded for the last two night but felt we should have gotten refunded the full amount for the inconvenience.

The campground is a wonderful place with lots of families, not far from Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We had a delightful moment as nature enthusiasts where a tiny bug landed on my hand, and then we discovered these beetles burrowing into the ground as we sat in the light of our lanterns. Lovely experiences here, I keep coming back!

Campsite was clean and spacious. Camp host was friendly and helpful. The trail around the campsite was well maintained and a way to workout an after dinner meal. Boyden cavern is a great place to see. Lake Hume is a short drive as is Grants Grove. As a last stop on the way out, the Big Stump was an enjoyable end to out trip.

Princess has prime location! Recommended Redwood canyon hike. If you can make full loop that is amazing. We also hiked up to Emerald Lake. Amazing cliff jumping and bouldering for those who climb. Need to come back to climb on ropes! Do not skip Hume Lake!

Small, calm, not crowded. So it was very nice during this pandemic.
