Location was perfect. Scenery was beautiful. A little dusty, but being close to the vault toilets was great for our disabled (wheelchair) son. We camped in a 25 ft trailer. We enjoyed Kings Canyon NP and the showers at Cedar Grove were great!

Beautiful forest, the campsites for the most part are spaced apart and the roads and nice between sites. Camp host was friendly and not too invasive. I would definitely camp here again. We had spot 23 and really liked it. Site 27 was really nice too.

Princess is an excellent campground. Our time there was stellar thanks to Crystal and Christian our Camp Hosts. Due to Stony Creek closing for maintenance we lost 3 days. Crystal was able to fit us in another spot that we loved. Princess is near our favorite place to swim, Hume Lake. Its the best campground in Sequoia!

We loved our experience here. Beautiful place! Very cool temps...low 80s (6000' elevation). even when the base of the mountain was 108. We were glad we brought our Mr. Buddy heater in July...it made changing in the mornings cozy. It's getting 4 stars because of the vault restrooms. Very clean and but a tad smelly [not bad at all]We saw and heard lots of birds The camp hosts are amazing and super funny. You won't get any reception but you'll have some at Grant Grove (15min drive). We were at site #23 which was leveled, had a spigot and restroom close by [no smell]. This site is huge! It probably has room for 6 other tents. Site #61 was super close to us but we got lucky as they were with a larger group and mostly spend much of their time at their site. For activities, you can go to stump grove, hike hume lake, rent a kayak at hume, drive 50 mins to hike mist falls [via Rea Lakes Loop Trailhead]
