The 1 star is for Campsite # 50 itself, not the overall campground. Campsite #50 is absolutely TERRIBLE for trailers, despite the information for the campsite stating that trailers are acceptable. First of all, the area to park for the campsite is facing the wrong way in which you are supposed to come in on the loop. Then, the area for parking was too steep and uneven, and it was a downhill/uphill walk to and from the trailer to the picnic table and fire pit. On top of that, the website stated full shade but it is not full shade, the hottest portion of the day had full sun since they have been cutting down trees in the campground. The website needs to have recent, updated photos with plenty of photos for every website that includes both the table areas AND the parking area so campers know exactly what they're booking before they get there. We only stayed 1 night and then left because we weren't comfortable with our trailer being on such an incline in soft dirt, and the website had no photos of this when I booked the campsite months out. I would NOT recommend this campsite for trailers.

Love, love, love the campground. The camp host, Crystal & her husband were awesome. The meadow adjacent to the campground was breathtaking, so beautiful - We have stayed at Princess a number of times & just love it there

Beautiful Campground in a great location. Very friendly camp hosts and super bathrooms. Potable water spouts were having issues but hosts were actively working on fixing the issues. Biggest problem- "rv" spots are can be incredibly sloped and should not be catergorized as such. We were in a campervan in spot 50 and even with leveling blocks were no where near level. The motorhome next to us had it way worse and fortunately the hosts were able to relocate them

Must see grizzly falls, the general sequioa, and hume lake. The park rangers the lovely 2 ladies helped me shoot much. They made sure we were comfortable and happy. They went out if their way to help us. Such a great experience. We were right in the sequioas. Cried when we left. Can't wait to go back!!! Hands down the rangers help make our trip something to remember so thank you to the 2 awesome ladies. This place is a mist visit. My family and I will definitely be returning. :)
