It's a great campsite, super close to the bathrooms, and not too far from the lake. Good privacy and is a little bit off the road. We did have a few people walk through our campsite to get to the bathrooms but it wasn't an issue. I will say there weren't a lot of options to hang a hammock, but we did find a few places that were spread out, luckily we brought extra ropes. The bathrooms are fairly clean and everyone was super chill. We would definitely reserve this campsite again.

This was our first time camping at this campground and it turned out to be a great site. It was helpful for us to be close to the restroom and water spigot, and to have a lot of shade for most of the day. It was quiet and peaceful with good spots for our tent and hammock. There was a slight view of the lake and an easy walk down to the waterfront, which was awesome. No one checked us in but we saw people checking on the bathroom, so there were people around watching out for us. All in all, it was a great experience and we will definitely return to that campground.

The campground is smaller and near the lake. The best part of our stay were the camp hosts, Pete and Edie. They went "above and beyond" expectations to keep bathrooms clean and address the few noise issues by inconsiderate groups during the 10pm - 6am quiet time. Please keep working on the quiet issue as less noise pollution in our National Forests and Parks is desirable if not necessary for their integrity. The Christian Conference can be a good partner as in the past but please continue work with them to follow quiet hours starting at 10pm especially. They held events this year that carried noise and music loudly across the lake to the campgrounds until at least 11pm....not good.Thank you again for preserving this treasure and for having such great camp hosts!

Excellent campground with a beautiful lake nearby. The campground hosts were extremely kind and there's WATER in the campground. The toilets are flushable and cleaned everyday. Although campground #71 has the bathrooms right infront of it, not across the campsite as shown in the map, so some people might walk through your campsite without a care so make sure to make it very obvious someone is camping there. Never smelled the bathrooms from the campsite though. Otherwise, my stay was lovely.

The staff at the entrance was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The site was clean, and actually quiet during "quiet hours". Our site was super close to the lake and the view was beautiful.

We have been going to Hume Lake for years and it is one of our favorite campgrounds. The staff is great and keeps everything clean.

I love the lake access and we kayak several times per day, around the lake. The walking path around the lake is beautiful.

We chose this campground at random because it was a perfect stop on a road trip that we took. We were VERY pleasantly surprised at how incredibly beautiful and peaceful this place was. We also werent aware that there was a kids Christian summer camp going on at the time and stumbled into their area and there was the cutest little places to hang out, sit down, get food, and snacks. And our campsite was only a short walk away! So glad we stumbled upon this place we are definitely planning on returning :)
