Beautiful place and weather! Loved every bit of this camping place, morning coffee by the foggy lake and walk around

Pros:
Nice location next to the lake with great lake access, nice walking trail around the lake
The campsites are not too close together - good for privacy
The bathrooms are clean with running water
Cons:
The Christian camp is very loud and raucous - they are having a fantastic time but the sounds of screaming kids can be heard at all areas of the lake since it isn't very large. We were there on a night of competitions on how loud the groups can scream, so it was very loud. I asked the store manager and he said every night is loud. The noise stopped around 8:30 and after that it was quiet, but it does diminish the peace of this campsite.

While this is a decent campground on a beautiful lake, I did not enjoy my stay here at all. The Christian Camp across the lake had a fullblown rave/concert with a DJ blasting his voice and secular rock//electronic/rap songs over a speaker system and chanting/screaming kids responding back to him. This lasted for a couple of hours until after 11PM at night. The second night of my stay they were again blasting their voice messages over the speaker system, which echoes across the lake.

ALSO, at 5AM each morning a construction crew/loggers were using loud motorized machinery to cut, load and move logs. I was awakened both mornings at 5AM to the sound of loud crashing of metal machinery and chainsaws cutting logs, and then they moved the logs down a road right in front of our campsites. The construction noise continued throughout the day, so I could not even stay and enjoy Lake Hume at all. When I checked in I was immediately told that quiet hours were 10pm-6am, but it was anything but quiet here.

I just wish I had been advised of both the Christian Camp disturbances as well as the construction/logging, I would have stayed at a different campground which were available at the time that I booked my reservation at Lake Hume. (After having slept very little the first night, I checked with other campgrounds in the area and they were all full, so I could not go anywhere else after I had arrived.) I drove all the way down from the state of Washington to enjoy a peaceful camping experience by a high Sierra Lake, and got sorely disappointed by loud sounds like I was in a city.
