Great campsite but fully on a slope, which makes it a little hard to get up and down. Private enough but close to bathrooms so peoples lights shine kn tent

First, this is my 11 time camping here, and the first time I put a bad review . This spot isn’t the same at the picture, campground super dirty, my spot was horrible, fire pit was full off trash, bathrooms dirty all day, nobody cleans. No ranger, or host like every year, honestly my first time I can’t enjoy with my family. 11 years but I never see this, horrible and you guys kill this beautiful place.

Everything was excellent. I wish the water were little bit warm.

Clean campsite. Good shade for some of the site. Gas station and general goods store was 5 minutes away. There's wifi at the gas station but it's $15 for 24 hours or $30 for 1 week for 1 device. Our site, site 33, was next to the bathrooms and water with the dumpsite in front, but far enough that we didn't have people crossing through our site. The site is also on a teeny tiny hill from where you park your car. Enough room for 3 six-person instant tents and a shower tent.

The mountainous slash piles of trees and deep gouges of heavy equipment destruction are ugly and pose a fire hazard. I believe this was done to alleviate it. Okay fire mitigation is important but please dont destroy the beauty of the campsite in doing so and just leave it that way.

The site is promoted at a great point for those who want to do star treks to KINGS CANYON or to GENERAL GRANT TREE. Getting to GENERAL SHERMAN TREE takes what is like 40-45 minutes. The views that open up in the surroundings are spectacular. Toilets with running water and sinks are located inside them. Really tidy site, generous and professional staff, access to the lake really convenient. Recommend.
We were at site number 033, really close to toilets and water source. Sites are large enough and allow a lot of privacy. This specific site can accommodate 2-3 families or one large family.

The campsites are large and most have a good amount of shade, with at least 1-2 nice flat areas to set up a tent. The bathrooms were relatively clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
