Wonderful area. Well-kept campground. Peaceful lake with no motorized boats.

This was a great campsite, despite the fact that there was construction happening early in the morning and a Christian camp on the other side of the lake - there was tons of noise both early in the morning then again late into the night that traveled to us from that side of the lake and it wasn't completely unbearable, but it did disrupt some peaceful moments. Besides that, this site was lovely during sunrise and seeing the epic views of the lake. We went to Sandy Cove on the opposite side of the lake which was also quite beautiful.

Everyone is so kind! Our neighbors were so welcoming and friendly and really made an effort to get to know us. They were so generous with helping us with our fire and letting us use some wood. Jesus was so present and evident in the people. The location was so close to Hume Lake and it was just a surreal experience seeing and living in this beautiful location. 10/10 recommend.

Our campsite was close to the lake as well as to the really well kept bathrooms and we had a great time - would camp there definitely again! :-)

This is a very beautiful campground. It is close to both Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks for a quick drive in to experience both parks. Its clean, the sites are good sized. I think that was made the contrast of the adjacent enormous Christian camp such a disappointment. The amplified music and constant bells and yelling really took away from the beautiful nature we were experiencing in our own campsite. Ive worked at camps, attended camps camped near camps but this was out of control. No quiet hours for them. They had a concert that went until 11:30 ish one night complete with loud music and constant screaming. The morning bells which I assume some type of feeding schedule were before 7 am. Im an early riser but I love quiet mornings when everyone else is still asleep. It settled down some during the daytime but was non stop loud noise the times we were settled at our own camp trying to enjoy a meal or sleep. My advice stay here but find out when the adjacent camp is closed.

Hume Lake was a special place for my family. The other campers around us were friendly and respectful. The hosts were helpful and did a drive by at quiet hours to make sure everyone was respecting the rules. There is a trail that leads to the other side of the lake where the Hume Lake Christian Camp is that had - convenience store that everything from ice, meds, chips, burgers, misc. camping gear, gas, and a snack shop with pretty amazing burgers and shakes. My only complaint (which is totally first world problems) was there was no soap or lights in the bathrooms like there was at other campgrounds we have been to recently.

I always have a wonderful time when I am at Hume. The campsite was very clean, the attendance were excellent. They checked on this pretty regularly made sure noise levels were down and everybody was acting right. Plenty of fish in the lake, bathrooms were clean, plenty of social distancing, couldnt ask for more.

Always enjoy coming here. Camp host is very friendly, and some of the sites are very close to the lake.
