Redfish lake was pretty. The bench lakes hike was beautiful.

What a lovely campground. The campsites were spacious and beautiful. We were right above the river looking at the Sawtooth Mountains. Stunning! The camp host were beyond welcoming. So kind, thoughtful and helpful. I think their names were Barbara and "Hubby". The vault toilets were very clean and didn't smell and there were lots of them. There was hardly anyone there the week after Memorial Day. We want to come back for sure. We camped in a 17 foot trailer. There was lovely shade and adequate solar. It was near Redfish Lake which is fun to drive to and see the cool lodge. A definite must do is to explore the Custer Ghost Town on Hwy 75 north of Stanley. Its a beautiful drive but 11 miles off the main highway. It was a somewhat rutted dirt road but worth it. Homemade ice cream awaits you at the saloon :-).

Clean campground and restrooms. Good, quiet neighbors. Full campground but it was quiet and relaxing.

Sunny Gulch had plenty of room between the camping spots. The RV spots were level and in good shape. The restrooms were clean and kept stocked. Traffic noise was not bad and the Salmon river could be heard all night.

Sunny Gulch campground is a beautiful site; quiet; clean. Restrooms were very, very clean. SG is close to the town of Stanley and Redfish Lake. We visited the ghost town of Custer; Sunbeam Dam; Redfish Lodge; fish hatchery and shops and restaurants in the town of Stanley. The magnificent Sawtooth Mountains were our backdrop...beautiful. Our hosts M.J. and Michael were friendly, fun and informative.

Friendly camp host, clean bathrooms and campground. Nice trail along the river behind the campground.
