Our poor experience started about one week from our arrival date. Our group of friends and family had about 23 campsites reserved for the weekend, a few reserved and paid for two sites for additional family members. We did not know that one individual could not book more than one site under their name. The host started making phone calls to those individuals and was less than helpful, only asked what site they were going to cancel. As the somewhat camp coordinator, I started getting phone calls from friends panicked that they were going to lose camp spots. I explained how to transfer the primary occupant (something that the HOST should have done instead of creating drama).
Arrival at our site was painful. We were asked for a printed copy of our reservation, drivers license, validate the number of occupants all from a very disgruntled camp host with a less than friendly dog (aggressive). The host then showed up the next day while I was away demanding additional fees for a third vehicle. My reservation for a double campsite clearly showed three vehicles which were paid during the reservation, all of which fit within our campsite.
I witnessed the host belittle a woman who was trying to check in, he rode around with the aggressive dog and acted like campers were an inconvenience to him.
His camp site with the skeleton in the chair and prison yard weight rack and equipment was tacky.
The final straw was when he chewed out my friends father that draining his cooler prior to departure was prohibited as it would leave a puddle of water. Will not return if ROSCOE is there!
