The camp host of loop A was horrible, he made our trip miserable. Every morning at 2:00 am he started his side by side up, and proceeded to drive around the whole loop. One night he Evan got off his side by side and walked around my teenage daughters tent, he scared them to death. When I asked him the next morning , he replied yes I did, and quickly changed the subject. He was the same camp host as last year (Rosco) was his name. He also harassed everyone. This guy is Waco , we ended up leaving early, we just could not accept his behavior. These camp spots are very hard to come by and have a lot of rules that go with them. There is also way to many people. This used to be a wonderful place to spend with my family, not any more

You can't beat the location of Glacier View. Great access to Redfish Lake and all of the other great hiking and activities in the Stanley area. However, the bathrooms here are old, outdated and dirty, with no soap and often out of tp. For as busy and popular as this campground is, it's time to put in some basic, clean bathrooms at this campground.

I loved this campsite and we all agreed that this is going to be an annual event! The facilities were decent, but the view and the location is ideal!

We love this place!!! We will be going back. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. Redfish lake is a lot of fun, Stanley Lake is absolutely gorgeous. Glacier View campground is very nice and plenty of space between sites. We were in loop C. The town of Stanley is worth a visit and has great food! The lodge at the campground has great food too! Very relaxing, peaceful stay!
