We love this beautiful campground. However, there were cattle roaming the campground and pooping everywhere.

First, the aroma of the tall pines is wonderful. Thus is the best USFS campground weve visited: clean, quiet, good amenities such as water and elegant level sites

This is one of our favorite campgrounds in the Santa Fe National Forest. The electrical hookup sites are very popular, so try to book early. Our campground host was great - very friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful location along Jemez Creek with a nice walk along the waterway.

My wife and I along with our daughter love this campground! So beautiful and all the guests and especially the camp host are friendly and of course you can't be the scenery along with the San Antonio River running along the campground! We stay here at least 2 times a year in the summer and we always can't wait to come back.

Nice place. My only complaint was that the water was turned off early and it would have been nice to been notified of it before be arrived.

The host was not doing anything. He did not clean the bathrooms regularly and he never came to our campsite to check.

Totally enjoyed our stay there. Very clean campsite and restrooms. The spaces were easy to get in and out of and they are not too close to each other allowing sufficient quiet and privacy. Will definitely be returning.

Nice timber. There was a creek running next to the campground, but it was overgrown for the most part. Had an electric site (32 amps 240vac) that I used to charge my car. The camp host was helpful. The tent site level.

The water is finally back on at the campground, after having been off for most of the summer due to a bacteria found by the state. I tried to learn this before arriving at the campsite and called the Jemez Ranger Station, but only got a recorded message and they never returned my call. Hopefully, this will help someone looking for the same information. Still a great campground.

We arrived late and were trying to set up our tent as it was dark. The caretakers rolled up on a golf cart and proceeded to honk at us until we stopped what we were doing and walked all the way back up the path. We were one spot over by mistake. We asked if we could stay there as the reservation hadnt shown and it was dark. They were adamant about moving us next to a German couple who were amorous for hours in a very loud fashion. The camp over as to separate us stayed vacant. Rules are for a reason but this was an incident where we were not treated with dignity in the least. It was super offensive and trashy for them to lean on the horn to stop people obviously setting up a shelter. An individual with class and something to say, approaches the person to converse with. It was just really awkward because I am an Iraq veteran and I expect a certain level of decorum from all branches of the federal government. They pound it into you. Not sure how the mark was so far missed with those two. Hopefully they will be replaced for a couple their age with manners.
