What a beautiful campground! Clean and well-laid out. Fantastic views. I was in Space 10 which was nice and secluded, though some on the other side of the campground road were even nicer with terrific views. While it was a little noisy at times (mostly when folks were arriving and trying to park their rigs) a short walk down the hill drowned all that out. (The sites were also close to the main road which had enough traffic to be annoying at times.)There is a very nice, wheelchair accessible walking path that runs along the creek. There are multiple footpaths running from the walking path to the creek's edge. Because of how the light changes throughout the day, you can go for several hikes through the property that will seem new each time. If you want a longer hike without driving somewhere, there is access to a property across the road that is partially private property, but as long as you're respectful, you're welcome to hike around. The campground could make a great base camp for excursions to other trailheads, the Valles Caldera, or Jemez Springs if you want to do the hot springs or grab a beer and some pizza. The campground is also very close to Amanda's store if you need supplies, and they have free wifi there so you can use wifi calling if you don't have service. (I have T-Mobile and had no service, but I think Verizon might be available.) I was there on a solo trip, but plan to return with my wife next year. I was there in mid-September; nice warm days and chilly nights, perfect for a campfire.

The campground and camp site were clean and nicely maintained. It was also easy to reserve. I wished there are more plug in sites

The campground is too close to the road and the traffic went on late into the night. The toilets were nearly full and very smelly. Thankfully we were further away, but I felt sorry for the RV's that were parked close to them. On the plus side, I like the walk along the stream and the camp host was very kind.I needed to cancel my reservation. but the website would not allow me to do so, only reschedule it. That was very problematic and should be remedy because people's lives change.I would NOT stay at this campground in the future.

We enjoyed this site as it is roomy and the driveway is plenty long and level. When this park was remodeled some time ago, they really did a great job installing the retaining walls that line some of the sites, including this one. While it is fairly close to the site to the south and one across the road, the "outdoor living" side of your RV or trailer looks out onto slightly elevated open forest and grassy area, so the site feels quite private. The walk to restrooms and water spigots is not too far. Restrooms were clean and well cared-for and we like that at this campground, the restrooms have electric lighting.

We have camped here every year since 2017. We have always had a great experience here, with friendly, active hosts. This time, we never once saw the host. There was debris in the fire pit when we arrived. The bathrooms were very dirty, like they have not yet been cleaned this season. Other campers helpfully said in their reviews that there was no toilet paper, so I brought plenty of my own, which was fortunate because the bathrooms had run out of toilet paper within 24 hours of our arrival. The toilet paper was never replaced. To me, this is a very disappointing development for San Antonio campground. I hope that this host either improves their service or does not return for a future summer. This beloved campground deserves better care.

Great RV sites, paths, lighting. Gorgeous area and everything beautifully maintained. The campground would be too crowded (sites close together) for our preference if it were full, though. And no cell service at all, but that's ok as long as we plan ahead.

Awesome camp hosts kept sites immaculate. Clean including the fire pits and grills. Large level campsites.
