Folks, let me tell you, Ive seen a LOT of campsites in my life, a LOT of them. And believe me, this one is absolutely tremendous. Some people are saying its the greatest campsite ever, and I have to agree. The facilities? Spotless. Youve never seen a cleaner campsite. So clean, you could practically eat off the floor, but I wouldnt recommend it, believe me.And the creek?! Oh, its wonderful, just perfect. The kids loved it, they were splashing around, having a fantastic time. The depth? Incredible. The temperature? Unbelievable! Like it was carefully designed to be the most perfect creek for children to play in. Some people thought it couldnt be done, but guess what? This campsite did it!Overall, it was an amazing experience. So amazing, youll be telling everyone about it for weeks. Im telling you, Ive seen big things, wonderful things, but this place is one of the best. Do I recommend it? Absolutely. Id recommend it in a heartbeat. Take my word for it, its a winner!

Its disappointing when you make reservations 6 months ahead of time and when you arrive you dont get what you paid for. We arrived and the water spigot wasnt working and we didnt fill our tanks because in good faith we expected the water to work. Luckily we took enough bottled water to get us through our trip. When we informed the host he couldnt have been less interested and all he could say was Im the host, not a plumber. The bathrooms were filthy at best, the campsites had not been cleaned. The trash dumpster hadnt been emptied. I have camped at San Antonio my whole life and I have never seen the campground so neglected. Then host then went MIA for days. Im not sure why hes even there. Last year when we were there, the bathroom were power washed, the fire pits were clean and the trash was emptied. I hope that something is done to bring the campground back to what it was last year. Rethinking you camp host may be a start.

Love San Antonio, but our site was dirty and illegal scrap wood was left in pit. Host left, not present, two days before our stay ended.
