Water was shut off the day we arrived. No problem had we had known ahead of time, but nothing was posted on website or at time of reservation. Other than that campground was well kept and a great place to stay.

James does an excellent job at keeping the campground clean and safe. He even shooed away some cattle roaming through the campsite.

The camp host was courteous and informative.We had two cars and 6 people and would have liked to just take one campground spot. Instead, we rented two and stayed in one.The facilities were functional and clean.

camp hosts much better than last year but the bathrooms are horrible solid poop filling up the toilets and flies everywhere and the smell is terrible

Nice quiet location, close to the highway. But still a good spot for a relaxing camping trip.

The only reason I couldn't give this a 5 star rating is that the water was not working at our site and there was no camphost or staff to talk to. The campground is beautiful with great walking paths. The restrooms were clean. Not having cell service was a surprise but it made for a better outdoor experience. The dogs loved it too.

Would have given a zero but wasnt an option. We paid for a site with electricity and water. There was no water! Camp host was nowhere to be found. A man at the host site said he was kind of the host. We asked about water and he was clueless l. He said he could contact the rangers but never got back to us. He let us get water from a different campsite. He wouldnt let us move to a different site. He said they were booked however, there were only about 5 campers, all sites said reserved but there were several empty sites available. Maybe they were no shows but we paid full price for a site with water. We reserved 3 nights total. Shame on San Antonio campground! You should treat your guests better than that and dont charge us if you cant provide what we paid for in advance!!!

Always quiet and pleasant surroundings.
We just wish it was easier to get a reservation. We know it's popular but playing try to beat the clock with others is not easy. We need electric and water, so limited. Thanks so much.

You will want to know that a motorhome with a towed car will be counted as 2 vehicles and you will be asked to pay for an extra vehicle, currently an additional $10(not eligible for the senior discount) because you have your RV tow a vehicle rather than have your vehicle tow your RV.

Had an amazing time, the weather was beautiful and we got rain each night. We had our grandkids with us who also thoroughly enjoyed the warm days and cool nights. we were in site #4 which is our favorite, it has electric and water, the only down side was that we were told to bring our own water since they had not turned the water however when we got there the water was available even though I had called the day before our arrival.. We stayed on Jul 24th thru July 30th and will be returning in September to our favorite #4. The vegetation was green and many flowers in bloom, so so beautiful!

San Antonio camp ground is a really nice place to camp. It is really hard to get a reservation though. I have been camping here since I was a young girl. Approximately 45 years. I have camped there with my children and even my grandchildren. It is maintained and always clean.

Great get away from the heat of Albuquerque. Even had one day of overcast and drizzley weather.Camp host did a very good job of maintaining the area. Even put out some hand sanitizer by t5he restrooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
