Great campground close to Santa Fe. The elevation is a great respite from the heat. The state park close by is also great and within walking distance. Met the sweetest ranger there that recommended several trails. The campsites are somewhat close but there is privacy. The bathrooms are vault toilets only and it is dry camping no amenities. Lastly cell service is non existent however the WiFi at the visitor center at the state party is great.

This was a great 1st experience for us!Perfect time to go with the fall colors coming in. The campsites are very clean.Plenty of space to spread out. We brought our overland trailer camped for a few nights. The area felt safe no one bothered anyone..the campsites have alot of distance between each site and you have quite a bit of privacy. The amenities were to be expected. We have our own setup for ease of use..so cannot comment on that. Did see some spigots by the vault toilets looks like they have water. Ez road to get into the camp. Never saw the camp host..? There is hiking and biking in that area..further north is a trail system further south about 10 miles is Santa Fe. Will be back for sure.

Nice shady campground. Sites are nice but a little close to each other. My only real complaint is that with this campground there is a reservation in addition to the nightly fee. Why not just increase the price by a couple of dollars instead. And even worse if you decide to cancel even weeks in advance you lose the entire amount. So there is NO INCENTIVE to cancel if plans change which results in UNOCCUPIED campsites which are then unavailable to other campers. (This may not be true for long reservations who I believe get a small refund.)

Wonderful, large campsite. Zero reception, as is mentioned, even with a booster. This made it a little scary with small children, but the drive to reception isn’t all that far. All sites are large and spaced apart. Can’t wait to return!
Our camp spot was wonderful, the entire area was quiet and so picturesque. Friendly neighbors, the trail starting in the campground was great too. We brought our 2 and 4 year olds and they loved it.

Mobile Data Speed Map

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
