We have a 40' RV. The reservation site says they can handle 40' RVs. We stayed in Juniper loop and took a site that had electricity. The only pull through site was right along the road and was too narrow to accommodate our 4 slides without sticking out on the road. The site we took was a back in and was plenty long enough but si slanted to the back that we were unable to level the rig. A walk through the loop did not show any site that was level. Nice CG but very unlevel and more suited to small trailers or tents.

The camp host helped us find a suitable spot even though the one we reserved and paid for was occupied. Many of the spots are too small for a trailer or too un-level to be suitable.

McPhee is a beautiful place to camp! The host was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!

Nan & Rolf were excellent campground hosts. Everything was clean and such a beautiful site. We've been there before and we will come again!

We paid for a spot with 30A service. The voltage was too low to be of any use. Didnt want to spoil the experience of the other campers so we didnt run our generator. Our spot, 10E, was supposed to be a pull through spot, but it was just a wide spot in the road. The light in the mens bathroom was inoperative.

Great campground, very peaceful and quiet. Didn't realize there were no showers so that part was challenging but we still enjoyed our time.

Bathrooms very clean and flushable. Water station kept clean as well with high pressure. Generally quiet campground. Most people had RVs, we did tents. The recreation area at the reservoir is only for boats. If youre planning to go for non motorized craft, go to Narraguinnep Reservoir Recreation Area instead, 8 minutes away. Do not go to the McPhee hidden recreation area they tell you about at the boat ramp. Huge disappointment.

We switched sites to a better one with more space on a holiday week and was lucky to not have direct neighbors. Only a few Black ants and minimal flying insects, which is rare. Clean bathrooms with flushing toilets, except our closest men's bathroom light was out. Unfortunately, the reservoir water was not working the last day, and so they had to close the bathrooms. They water from the outside spigot was working however. Our host Rolph was very nice.

Could only pull ~15A from the 30A plug before it dropped below 100 volts. Left the same and camped elsewhere. They only refunded a small amount of the reservation as well!

The camp hosts were incredible. We needed to switch sites and they made it easy. Entire campground extremely clean, and the bathroom looked and smelled like you were at home rather than camping. Will definitely be returning,

Lovely campground, private big camp spots. Pity the dump is no longer in use.

A great place with spacious campsites for a quiet escape. Super good hosts.

This was one of the cleanest campgrounds. The host does a truly excellent job maintaining this underrated facility. It is gorgeous, there are plenty of restrooms. They are cleaned and well maintained. The campsites are roomy and have great amenities. There are places to fill your RV, and some electrical sites. We have a 35' travel trailer and easily fit and parked at our site. We will definitely return. Loved this 'under the radar' camping facility.Signs for tent camping could be improved, but that takes some financial investments.

This was a great campsite! Sites were very spacious, and there were convenient water stations located every 2-3 sites. They also had flush toilets and sinks, and they were the cleanest campground bathrooms I've ever seen. Some sites were very sunny and got hot even early in the morning, so definitely review the pictures closely before choosing. There are cool artifacts and hiking trails as part of the campground and amazing views of numerous mountain ranges across the Four Corners area. Highly recommend!

The campground hosts are awesome. There are a few trails to hike in the area but access to the lake is difficult.

The site I reserved was not as pictured but thankfully I was able to move into a site that fit my 30 foot trailer, the hosts were very nice. The bathrooms were spotless every morning and the noise level was low even on the weekend. Next time I plan to use the first come side of the campground since they give a 50% discount for veterans and the reservation side didnt.

Nice campground, clean bathrooms, ran into the hosts once and said hello, but they never came by my campsite to check on things. They seemed nice though. My site was large with plenty of space between me and the next site, overall pleasant campground.

Original site 001E is undesirable and unlevel. Friendly host Nan suggested 10E and it was very nice near restroom and several deer.

The campground itself is nice but could use some improvements and maybe open the dump station again.

Campground itself is five-star, but reservation info is not always accurate. The reservation info states that there is a dump station available but there is not since it was closed permanently some time ago due to inadequate design. Also some sites have the wrong photos. We booked site 1E in the juniper loop which turned out to be one of the worst sites in the campground (small and uneven with no privacy at all). The site photos shown on reservation page under 1E were actually of the site across the road which is one of the best sites in the campground but is also occupied by the camp host and unavailable. Fortunately it was early season and we were able to shift to another nicer electric site without issue but if we had been stuck in 1E I would have been pretty PO'd. Most of the campsites are really nice. Good separation and lots of choices with electric. Also more community water spigots than shown on the map. Bathrooms are nice and clean with flush toilets (not just pit toilets). Some of the non-electric tent sites on the outside of the loop are also very nice and very private. Camp hosts were great. Overall a great campground poorly presented on the reservation web site.

Campsites in juniper loop all had a lot of trees and walk on 2 and 3 had spectacular views. Host left a note with some info in my campsite I found very useful so tha was also really appreciated. Water spouts and toilets around the walk one were all functioning and very clean.

Great bathrooms, nice fire pit. Great hosts.

Definitely a pleasant experience. It's a little out of the way but the campground is nicely laid out with trees and shady spots as well as open areas for camping in cooler times. The hiking trail was well maintained and the Camp Host was very helpful explaining to us where the trails were and how to get water. I would camp here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful spot. Friendly campground hosts. Good fishing and super friendly marina folks!
@WindyV985AEEB0 · Camped on Jul 26, 2024 at Campsite #27
Our campsite was well maintained but the Host, Nan and Rolf, are beyond kind, polite, respectful and made certain we were comfortable. they were available if we needed anything. We will definitely be back if for no other reason than because of the hosts. Each site is spacious and even better is there is space between and site and privacy if you want. Offering Electrice site if needed, and non as well. Only improvement would be to reopen the RV Sani Dump station.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
