Great location just 30 min outside Durango. The lake is beautiful and provided some great fishing for trout. Host Mike was fantastic and sites were very clean and easy to access. Great location to explore Ouray and Silverton CO., Coming back for sure.

The campground is fabulous, but the site I reserved online was horrible!

We had such a great time. We appreciated that the bathroom was so clean and close to our site. The hosts were so friendly and helpful as well. My recommendation to other campers would be to bring long extension cords to get the electricity from the post to wherever you need it in the site. We also brought a canopy and put it over the table that is provided so that we would always have shade. The fabric to put over the table made everything feel cozy and special.

Haviland Lake is a very peaceful place to camp at for the family and the camp hosts are very friendly. The entire camp site(s) and restrooms are kept very clean.

I tried to cancel the reservation and could not do this. When I called the next day the person on the phone could not cancel this either. A bit frustrating.

The hosts were very helpful. The scenery was fantastic. There is a lot to do in the Durango area and further out. We visited Mesa Verde National Park and took the Durango-Silverton train while staying at the campgrounds. Highly recommended.
