Great view. Close to town but still in the wilds. Hiking trails accessible from the campground, always a plus. This campsite was one of the best. Great views. Large tent pad. We had a Ford Transit van and long bike rack. Plenty of room for that. Larger rig would have trouble. Bear activity while we were there. Tent campers had left food in their tent. Bears ripped through the tent and continued to visit the area throughout our visit. Foxes too. Campground hosts were excellent stewards of the campground. They made countless trips around the campground warning of the bears and instructing proper bear country practices. Despite this, we will return. More to see and hike!

This place is a gem. We love the fact that we can travel there in a short time, yet feel like we are deep in the mountains. The lake is spectacular and scenic. Great for fishing, paddle boarding or swimming. The campsites are not close together and you have your own space. We absolutely love this place. The camp hosts Mike and Lily do a great job. See you next year..!

Beautiful location in the southwest Colorado Rocky Mountains. The campground is in a good location for nearby fishing, hiking and exploring the Telluride Ski Village as well as Silverton and Durango, CO.

Well maintained facilities. Overall great camp experience. Very clean toilets-no odor at all. Lake was full bough in early June to fish. Only negative was that there are no directional signs throughout campground. Loops are not labeled and campsite numbers were hard to read. We got lost driving through. Confusing set up but lovely, heavily wooded campground. Loop D has little traffic and is great for young children riding or playing.
