We love the site! Every year we have a family reunion at Haviland Campground, family from AZ and CO, it is a perfect double space spot along with the one next to us. It is so convenient with the water and bathrooms right there. We love the lake for fishing, padding boarding and Kayaking, it is such a beautiful area and they keep it clean.

The way out of the park the trees were not trimmed back and high enough for our 40' motorhome to traverse without scratching from tree branches.

The campground was excellent as always. However the lake is still not full after the dam was fixed by the State of Colorado Parks and Wildlife. The headgate on the ditch that fills the lake is closed. I don't understand why the state isn't actively filling the lake. Also the lake has only been stocked once. It needs a lot more fish put in. The fishing was really poor this visit.
