Loved this campsite. Clean grounds, clean bathroom, has running water, showers, trails and family friendly. Will camp there again

The campground was well equiped but I dont think the rules are being strictly followed and watched. It says clearly you cant have a running generator and there was front in front of us that went on all night. We saw the rounder pass by and didnt do anything. On the other hand, the campground was clean.

Our camp site was large and flat, and the bathrooms were spotless.

Pretty place, close to the lake, many toilets, showers and water filling hose thingies.Relatively expensive but excellent campground

Campgrounds were nice and had plenty of space. I do wish there was more of a designated tent area; one of our neighbors encroached in our area. The showers were also ice cold.

Beautiful campground with a large space. Close to the restrooms and would grab this site again.

Great spot! Decent distance away from the other spots and with great shade. Bathrooms are suprisingly clean and the park rangers / staff were super kind and welcoming.

The site campground was very well kept! Recommended hiking activities at Cougar Trailhead, walking to big bear lake or biking/walk on the bike path throughout the campground.

We stayed at post 122, perfect to park in. We had a roof top tent and had no problem with it being level. There was a water spinet on this post & theres many more scattered around the campground. It felt like every other campsite had one. These are community spinets and are safe to drink from. Awesome time in the fall/ beginnings of winter. Nice trees changing and star gazing while the moon shines through the pine trees

We had a good time except for the last day when the water main for our loop went out. We had to get water and use the bathrooms in the adjacent loop. This was inconvenient, especially at night.

I loved my campsite #122. It had the perfect spot for the table with a view of the lake and ski area across. There are big trees in just the right positions for a hammock and drying line. It's close enough to the bathroom without being too close. I will definitely stay in #122 again. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. There was even a fire safety check one night. I'm glad they are looking out for the forest and the people. One day I walked down to the lake beach with my fold up chair. It was lovely to just sit and enjoy the wind, water, sun and leftover snow on the mountain (in late April 2022). It was a short walk from my campsite. I saw there is a bike/kayak/paddleboard rental location walkable distance from the campsite but they didn't open until May. There is a great bike/walking trail that goes all along the lake and through the camp. One day I drove around the lake to the Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain. I enjoyed the Soaring Eagle and the Mineshaft Coaster. It was a short but fun attraction. Unfortunately the Alpine Slide was closed. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and look forward to coming back again. PS - Don't take my site when I want to use it please. ;)

The restroom facilities were the cleanest
I have experienced.
The paved trail next to campground
Was why I will go back. To go even further on it.
I found the campers respectful of others and had no loud music or party’s late into the night.
