We very much enjoyed our stay here. The campground is large and sites are all well maintained. Most of the sites are level and some on slopes. Our site was almost perfectly level and parking into our site was easy. The sites are fairly spaced out from each other. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Although we did not use the showers, they were some of the best Ive seen at a campground. This camp is close to The Village so restaurants and entertainment are easy to get to. We visited during snow season and did get some snow but not too bad. I would like to come back during the summer to enjoy summer activities on the lake.

Our family just stayed at Serrano for the first time and we loved it. The campsites were spread out enough to feel like you werent on top of each other. There was plenty of space in the campground undeveloped to explore. The campground was booked but the vibe was quiet. Everyone there was courteous, quiet and just enjoying the mountains. The campground runs alongside a well maintained paved trail, perfect for bike rides. The trail takes you to Cougar Crest trailhead & Big Bear Discovery Center. You can also cross N Shore Ln to access the lake, just a 5 minute walk from the campground. We loved it there and plan to return!

My wife and I and our two little fur babies stayed on Snowberry Loop 35. It was our first time in our RV. The campgrounds and the camp hosts were all wonderful! We enjoyed our walks down the paths and the lake. And it was so quiet and peaceful and super clean. We did end up leaving a little early but that was because we failed to replace the factory mattress in our new RV and couldnt stand another night on that thing unfortunately. But the experience at Serrano was great! Highly recommended. And yes it is very family friendly.

Due to a mix up at check in I had to repack and then move my trailer. No fun! Other than that, the hosts that I dealt with were kind and helpful. Next time I will verify immediately!

Great place to get in the mountains. Really appreciated being able to have a fire in the fire pit! Very easy walk to the lake shore and also to trails. My 3 kids and 2 dogs all had a great time.

Campground in the snowberry loop was fun. Full hookups and large campsites. No view of the lake but you are close enough to walk. Restrooms are well maintained. Camp hosts are constantly around making sure people are following the rules. Backing in can be a little tricky with the narrow road through the campsites.

This is our second visit here and it was just as good as the first. The camp hosts were great. The park is being kept up very nicely with the campsites being cleaned up as quickly as they are vacated.I really like the close access to the bike/hiking trail.
