Very nice place to camp, showers are clean and bathrooms are clean, pavement for bikes, and the lake is near. Easy access to the lake with kayaks, and the stores are close. Very nice atmosphere.

This campground is so wonderful – hands down one of the best forest service campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The hosts take great care of this place. The spot was nice and spacious – plenty of sun for our solar, but still had shade throughout the site which is the best of both worlds.

Lots of shade and enough space for a large tent with a group! campsite is well spaced away from neighboring spots so there is well enough room to feel comfortable away from other campers. Restrooms are very close and they come with warm water showers. The campsite itself is very shady as well and feels peaceful.
Only downside is that the trash containers are far and can be a hassle if you were to deposit your trash on foot however if you have a truck this is not a problem.

Clean campground including public restrooms. Space are far apart for some privacy. Stayed many times. A favorite.

El Serrano campground is nice and clean and also the restrooms ! The ladies at front entrance are really nice! Quiet and clean.

Coronavirus Review-Camping is listed on many sources as a low risk activity. This campground is really amazing, but during Coronavirus it is in no way a low risk place. If you need to social distance, please rethink your trip. Campers for the most part are not wearing masks when they use the indoor confined restroom space. It would be better if the sign on the door said mask required. Campers can wash their face, brush their teeth and do their makeup at their campsite if they get creative. This would mean it really is possible to keep your mask on every time you use the bathroom.
