First time camping with the family. Everything was mostly great. Camp site was clean and well maintained. Only complaint was there didnt seem to be a level ground. When sleeping in the tent the kids kept sliding off their pads. The picnic table was definitely not level so placing anything on the table resulted in things rolling or falling off the table onto the ground. The neighboring site had their picnic table on an asphalt pad so it was level. I recommend better leveling of the sites and putting all picnic tables on an asphalt pad.

Probably the best maintained campground I have ever stayed at. Conveniently located near a paved trail that takes you around the lake and within a couple of miles of the old Big Bear Village.

Impeccably maintained campground with friendly staff. A bike path, hiking trailhead, kayak rentals and general store are all within a short walk. Ideal for a quick getaway from urban southern California.

Warm showers were free so that was nice. The site was very spacious and just enough trees for shade. Close to the lake, hikes, the town
