What a great campground!! It was our first time camping at Serrano .Every one was was super friendly. We were there for 10 days. My wife was surprised to see camp suites decorated for Halloween.,(she loves to decorate.!) Damian the camp host had a Halloween parade! which was fun to watch!. The camp ground is very clean!! We will definitely be back!!

We recently stayed at Serrano Campground and had a wonderful experience. The campsite was spacious and offered plenty of room between neighbors, which made it feel private and relaxing. Each site was well-maintained and clean, with sturdy fire pits that included built-in grillsperfect for cooking outdoors. All of the campground hosts we met were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. The bathrooms were also clean and well-kept, and we appreciated seeing them being attended to regularly. The only downside was the condition of the shower facilities. While we did observe staff cleaning them daily and doing their best, the showers still had a persistent musty smell and visible mold on the walls. This seems to be an issue related more to age and ventilation than cleanliness. Out of the five showers in the Evening Star loop, only three were operational during our stay.Despite this, our overall experience was very positive. The campground is within walking distance of the lake and the paved Pedal Path, which was great for biking and walking. Theres also a small convenience store nearby, making it easy to grab last-minute items. We would absolutely recommend Serrano Campground to friends and plan to return in the future.

We have been coming to Serrano for 20 years now. It is always well kept and everyone is courteous and helpful. The location is great for going off roading, hiking, biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing and bird watching. It is away from the city lights and traffic, but isn't that what you want when you're camping? Grocery stores are only a 10 minute drive, along with restaurants and other activities.

Plenty of shade in the campground, but still plenty of room. Bathrooms very cleaning with flushing toilets and my daughter was excited to find out there were showers. We also did a lovely ride on the bike trail that runs along the lake edge and around to the town of Big Bear Lake. We would come back!

#90 was a good campsite. The only draw back was the next site is a double site. At least 15 People came and partyed all night long and packed up the next day! I had a good time till that happened. I like to get away from that kind of Stuff! Overall the trip was good. The only complant from the wife was the showers did't have hot water? Please fix the showers. (sky look loop)

I LOVE Serrano Campground. Been camping there for well over 10 years maybe closer to 20 years. I wait until school has started as fewer campers; but always reserve early to help get a favorite spot(s). This trip was no different. Great campsite with plenty of trees - I'm a 'hammocker' so trees are important (keeping the site number a secret!). Campsite was very very clean as were the restrooms. Met 'Calvin' and we shared a lot of common interests. All staff very courteous and helpful. Recommend the Discovery Center, and any number of the hiking trails. Use to bicycle around the Lake, but getting too old and decrepide. Went into town once briefly for some supplies, otherwise stayed at my campsite and read! Cannot wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We rented a pontoon one day and picnicked on the boat on the Lake. Another day we hiked up to Castle Rock, which had beautiful views of the Lake! The campsite was well-maintained, and the bathrooms and showers were kept very clean. This was our 2nd trip to Serrano Campground, and we will be back.
