Very nice large full hook up sites . Tight turns w/ large boulders to get to sites which takes some careful maneuvering for large class As. Roads with in the park need much improvement/ repair as asphalt is falling away as well as at camp sites. Beautiful pine trees throughout and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Fall couldn't be a better time to visit Serrano, if you like the Cold, 27 at Night, but the campground is near empty. Loved it, Snow came early, and we had to leave. Camp sites, Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Local walking trails, lots of places to eat. Though not as big a deal to me, but the camp host were wonderful. Fall colors in bloom. Highway around the lake can be noisy, it is right next to the campground. Other campers were respectful of noise guidelines. RV loop has full hook ups. Although other loops have great campsites if you don't care about hook up.

The Serrano Campground is awesome! The full hookup site we stayed in offered plenty of privacy, and you are tucked right up there in the woods next to Big Bear Lake. There is plenty to do, with the town only five minutes away, and a walking/bike path right out in front of the campground. The property is well maintained and beautiful.

Beautiful location and a well kept campground. Its right on the Alpine Pedal Path for a nice ride or walk. Cross over the Stanfield Cutoff at the end of the path and continue your walk on the Marsh boardwalk. The campground is great and the staff are awesome. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. I do wish the showers stayed on a little longer. You have to keep pushing the button in to get the water to flow.Site 52 is nice if you want full sun.

Serrano campground is beautiful, the lake is right there within walking distance, hiking or biking are great too. It is located a short drive from services, the Village in Big Bear and all the mountain has to offer.

Nice campground for the area. Fairly large sites. Facility is well maintained, but there was evidence of recent vandalism in restrooms. Very crowded during the summer and hard to schedule reservations unless you do it months in advance.

Full hookups in a forest-style campground is rare & excellent. The bicycle path into town is fantastic.

The park rangers were pleasant and helpful. Grounds were well kept and both campsites were in clean, usable condition upon arrival. Uneven sites/parking pads may result in longer RV rigs having to park in the middle of the space (vs closer to the rear), which can result in loss of parking space for the 2nd vehicle. Parking on asphalt is strictly enforced...Daily visits from Rangers resulted in our use of a broom to clear dirt off the asphalt space to reveal the true edge of the asphalt. Visual aid proved to be helpful to the Rangers. Found the location to be dog friendly, entirely walkable and quiet throughout the day. Firewood is available for purchase should you run out. Located far enough from town to be quiet, yet close enough for convenience - should needs arise.

We love Serrano RV park in Fawnskin. Have stayed there several times now and it is very peaceful and quiet, even with children running around. Not too close to neighbors, lots of wonderful pine trees for shade in the summer. NO TV or WIFI though so bring your satelite or videos and enjoy the serenity.
