Camp here with my teenager son. We had a good time. Few miles from snow summit if you are interested for downhill Mountain Biking.Very clean bathrooms and surprisingly very clean showers. No issues with a phone reception (Verizon).Lots of trees around hence so worries during the day in the summer

The campsite was awesome. We reserved sites within the Lake Loop, and the location was perfect. Easy access to all of the activities on the lake. the sites themselves were clean, shaded, and spacious. Rangers also came around to update us on daily events and hand out extra goodies like smores kits. No complaints!

Stayed at site 120, which is close to the bathrooms, is a smaller site with 2 flat spots, and a little bit of a lake view. No shade on site or picnic table. Sites 120 and 121 are very close, as in pitching a tent to the left of the firepit would put you by the neighbors tent. There are free hot showers on site though and bathrooms were clean, even when the campground was full. There is also an anthill on this site so lots of large (carpenter maybe) ants by table/bearbox and near flat spot to the right of the firepit.

The lake was absolutely disgusting. It was just sludge and algae. The showers were closed due to COVID which we were aware of ahead of time, but I didn't understand why. We stayed three days and two nights and the toilets were cleaned twice while we were there. However, the soap in the bathroom ran out about three hours after we arrived and was never refilled. The lack of sanitizing procedures made me question why we couldn't have showers, a place for us to clean and sanitize ourselves. Just a very odd choice. The campground was tiny and had one tree while the ones across from us were lush. When I booked the spot it showed a picture of tons of trees and said it had a lake view. The lake was not visible from our spot and there was a single tree that provided virtually no shade. It was blistering hot and the 10pm quiet hours weren't enforced even by midnight. Our neighbors were extremely loud, and people kept walking through our camp to use the restroom instead of using the paved path. We made the best of it, but it was a very disappointing experience.
