The couple that are camp hosts in the snowberry loop are amazing. They always make our stay great.

Our time at Serrano Campground was overall good. The only reason I deducted 1 star was because we had an electrical issue with our electrical pedestal. For some unknown reason my rig was getting a low voltage alarm and my surge suppressor would shut off power to my rig to protect my system. I told the camp host about this and he said he would have an electrician investigate the issue at a later date. It only shut the power off a couple of times so it didn't affect our trip much. Camp host was friendly. Road noise near the campsite was more noisy than I expected. Next time I will choose a different site location.

The showers are awful. I had to push the button over and over again and it only last for 3 seconds and had to push it at least 30 times to get warm water up on one and on another one warm water came on at all. For the prices were paying you would think youd have better restroom service.

Love Serrano campground! It is so peaceful and the area is beautiful with surrounding trees. We camped in Snowberry loop to have the advantage of full hookups for our RV, however, if we were only going to stay a couple of days, we would have chosen the Lakeview loop. We found the sites there had much more surrounding space. Serrano is close to downtown Big Bear which has many restaurants and shops. The campground hosts are very nice and helpful. You can buy firewood there. If you have a Lifetime Senior America the Beautiful pass, the cost is 1/2 the price, an excellent deal! (Camping is not too expensive there anyhow.)

Serrano never disappoints. Clean facilities. Well kept grounds. Friendly Staff. Far enough from town to avoid the crowds but not too far for it to be a hassle if you need to make a run for groceries or supplies.

Stay here once and you’ll understand why its so hard to book a site.

Wonderful location! Scored a full-hookup RV site on a last minute cancellation and it was a great trip! The campground is really spread out and clean. Lots of staff members keeping it in order. Entrance staff went above and beyond. The tent spaces looked especially nice nestled in amongst the trees. The Alpine Pedal Path runs through the south end of the camp grounds and its a really nice leisurely stroll along the lakes edge. There are also more challenging hikes in the area, but as we were traveling with a senior dog, we kept it easy for her. Campground was very quiet at night and incredibly relaxing. Town is easy to get to should you realize you forgot your chocolate for smores (crisis averted!)Only issue we had actually came from the camp host on our loop. Her site was right across from ours (we were in #59), and she let her dog wander wherever it wanted. Woke one morning to it dropping a #2 right outside our rigs door (while making nstense eye contact with me) and she wasnt anywhere nearby to pick it up. We ended up handling it. Seems a bit strange that the camp host is the only one not following the rules. She also wasnt particularly cordial. Youd wave hello and shed look the other way. I dunno, it was weird. Everything and everyone else was perfect tho!

We found our entire experience at Serrano to be wonderful! The staff was very friendly and helpful. An example: we were switching campsites from one night to the next and assumed that we would have to check out by noon and then check back in at 2:00. While we were breaking camp at the first site, staff members came by and gave us our pass for the second site. Since it was already unoccupied we could go straight over. We were impressed! The campground itself is clean and well maintained and in a beautiful setting. It's a short walk to the lake or to the pedal path for biking. There is hiking nearby and it is a short drive to town. We also noticed that the campground was pretty quiet, even though it was full and in the middle of summer. We will definitely go back to Serrano!

We loved the location in the Snow Berry Loop. We were in site #59 which was perfect. Lots of wide open areas and yet secluded. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We look forward to camping there again

We have a fully contained trailer and therefore did not used any facilities due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. We had a bad water regulator that was leaking. One of your hosts that was in the site across from ours, #59, was very nice and helped us troubleshoot and diagnose the leak. We needed to replace the regulator and he recommended a store where I could get one. We really enjoyed our visit to Big Bear Lake and appreciated the peace and quiet at our site. The staff was friendly and helpful and the site was clean. We come here often every summer and always enjoy our stays.

We loved being in a wooded/forest area away from "RV Resorts" We had full hook ups in the Snowberry loop. Easy to back in and hook up. Asphalt parking aprons for RV's could be more level. Had to add extra to the bottom of our steps to support them. Wish we could have stayed longer than three nights. Oh, Vons is closer to shop at in Big Bear than going into Fawnskin and oh so much less expensive. ATT wireless - 5G

Nice and quiet. Beautiful setting with the trees and the bushes. We had a full hook up space with lots of room for our truck and trailer. Friendly and helpful park staff. The best price when compaired to the other campgrounds available. Will be coming back soon.
