Big site with some shade all day. Backside of the site is the alpine pedal path which is handy but bad for privacy at the same time. It is also close to the road and lighthouse resort general store. A lot of plusses but not the best for quiet isolation.

We love Serrano campground. Weve been camping there yearly for the last 18years. Great for groups. Other people have told us we are spoiled because the sites are big and you have more privacy than usual. However, this particular site seemed smaller than other doubles weve stayed on. The facilities are kept clean as well. Plenty of sites with varying levels of shade. Easy access to the lake. Not to mention close to stores and restaurants if you forget something.

Site reservation and the site itself were great. Very clean site, restrooms, and showers. Location, location, location. Close to everything! Downtown Big Bear, hiking and the lake were fun.

It was great, but having no campfire was the only negative. I understand due to wildfires this step was taken, but we travelled so long and faced this issue. Thats the only reason, everything else was awesome!! Appreciate the staff who are working in these critical days! Kudos to them!!

Very nice campground, walking distance to the lake. The lake is a little mucky, but to be expected in SoCal. The bathrooms were incredibly clean, consistently stocked with TP and soap. The staff were very friendly. There was plenty of shade in our campground and the silent hours were decently enforced by the staff.Thank you!
