Awesome campsites. Attentive host. Clean amenities. Everything you want in a campsite! The dirt road isnt bad. Somewhat bumpy. Close to town. Close to the lake. Everything you need without the city feel.

Nice and secluded, not a zoo like serrano.

We do our annual event at Hanna Flats campground, reserve and take over the whole campground. Matt and Kim were great hosts. They made sure we had wood and helped keep everyone in line. They also made sure I got the forgotten stuff left in others campsites so I could make sure it got back to them. Trailer parking was level, a few others mentioned it too. Thanks for the great weekend.

This rural area campground is OK but most of the sites are too small for most RV's (ours was a class C RV 25 feet in length) so the fit was tight. Most of the sites were well maintained, and had shade in the pine forest. The restrooms were nicely maintained and kept very clean. The 2 mile uphill road (gravel & dirt) from Fawnskin had lots of washboard bumps. The County maintains the road up to the YMCA camp but beyond that, for the final 1/2 mile, the USFS does not maintain the road so it's very narrow and rough which could be problematic during wet weather.

Hanna Flat campground it lovely with clean, spacious sites. Even though the campground was full at the time of our visit it did not feel crowded. The camp host in site 80 was friendly and helpful. The camp host on the other side was not as welcoming. One thing that did stand out as problematic was the over-flowing trash bin at the campground entrance. It was disheartening to see the garbage piled up outside the roll off bin and recyclables being mixed with refuse. Trash collection needs to happen more frequently.
