This place was beautifully! The weather was perfect! The only but I had is that they wouldnt allow music. Im an understandable person and obviously didnt plan to have super loud music. But the little we had they told us to lower it down even more. Other than that it was a great place!

The site was great. 56 and 52 are great sites for a large group. The only issue was no phone signal according to my kids. My GMRS radio was great. Always carry it when might be going off grid. Would recommend this location for clean air and a good hike.

I came camping the previous week, and there were some very disruptive campers. The camp hosts did their best to handle the situations, so they still earned 5 stars. I came back again this week to get out of the heat, with hopes that it was just a bit of bad luck.I discovered that the descriptions of some campsites say "Shade: Yes" and others say "Shade: Full". I selected a Full site this time, and although there is plenty of shade available, direct sunlight does hit the tent area between about 1 - 6pm. The only minor issue is that the tent area is very close to the adjacent site - when I first pulled in, for a moment I thought that somebody had a tent set up in my campsite. Nope, it's just that the adjacent site is so close. For the first three nights, the neighbors were very nice people. By the final day, almost everybody had packed up and left, and it seemed like I was going to have a wonderful quiet evening with nearly the entire place to myself.Until hyper-aggressive loud-mouth long-hair dirt-bike dude rolled in, screaming f-bombs at the girl who was driving the car, between doing several laps around the campsite loop on his loud dirt bike. Sure enough, he starts pulling stuff out and setting up camp right next to my site, while the girl is left sitting in the car sobbing. Two other trucks pulled in behind, who appeared to be his friends.Clearly this is not going to be a quiet evening. So I decided to pack up and leave early. It's a shame that for two weeks in a row, other "campers" have ruined what would otherwise be a wonderful camping location. In the future, I will consider different locations and hopefully have a better experience. They still get 5 stars because it wasn't anything in the control of the camp hosts.

Great location in San Bernardino mountains. Sites are very clean, with bearboxes just in case! Camp hosts are awesome and keep the place spick and span. Hike from campsite, up towards Grays Peak, is beautiful and not too strenuous. You dont need to go far to see some real natural beauty. Recommend this spot for families, retreats or if you are looking for some peace. We went mid-week, but it gets busy at weekend.
