Camp site was spacious. Facilities were clean. Quiet time was quiet. Planning another trip soon. Task bins a bit fast and stinky, but overall loved the site.

It was our familys first camping experience and it was awesome! The hosts were super helpful, the campsite was big and not too close to the neighbors, and the area was beautiful! Our favorite part is the trail that is connected to the campground - my 8 & 6 year olds had a ton of fun breaking in their mountain bikes in on it! Well definitely be going back again.

My family and I had a great stay at Hana Flat for the weekend. We stayed in site #79 and were directly across from the most gracious and courteous camp hosts. They were very kind and even went over and above to assist bringing my sons bike back to our site after the chain broke. They made the experience even more memorable and I would most certainly recommend this lovely place any day!

The campground itself was very nice! When we were there, the 4 surrounding sites around us were for a kids birthday party, which would usually be no big deal but the kids were high pitch SCREAMING until 10 pm and the parents were up until around 230am being very loud. We could hear every word of their conversation. And then everyone was up and back to screaming by 5 am! Our site was directly across from one of the camp hosts. So we were very bothered they didn't enforce quiet hours. We ended up leaving a night early so we didn't have to hear them and could actually sleep.

The facilities that were open were clean and the campground had beautiful views and trails nearby.

Absolutely beautiful spot for solo or family camping. There is one trail that has scenic views of the mountains and just great time if youre about nature walks. The Vaulted toilets are what they are. They were decently clean, always had stocked toilet paper in them. A few were getting piled pretty high, but we did go camping the 2nd to the last weekend that the grounds were closing for the winter, so I guess thats a factor. And the vaulted toilets near us were closed probably for over flow reasons and a porter John was placed instead. Fire restrictions did limit the camping experience, but there is a store right at the foot of the hill right before you turn on rim of the world; they sell all the necessities and saved us when we really needed or butane stove top.Seen some OHV activity, not too sure if it is allowed but we were in the mountains and all kinds of hills for off roading, dirt biking, and quading for sure. The camp host for us was the greatest! She was the kindest person ever but didnt was very firm and direct about the rules and had no problem with letting you know if you were out of line. She overall kept the peace and quiet and was just awesome to have around. We will definitely be coming back here for future camping.

Camped early August 2020. Site 79 and 62. Beautiful! Weather is great. Very picturesque of trees and large rocks. Camp host is extremely nice and helpful. Campsites are clean and well spaced out. Can get warm during the day. Was about 80s- 90s. Nice breeze cooled us down. No wind during the night during our stay which was nice and made it easy to cook over the campfire. Was chilly at night. Got to about 40 degrees when sleeping so check weather and prepare accordingly before coming. Dirt road on the way up which was slightly bumpy but regular cars with no 4 wheel drive can make it. Close to big bear lake.
