The campsite was okay. The campsite had a slope which made things a bit difficult. There is some shade depending on the time of day and in the middle of both restrooms.

Site 15 was excellent, extremely private since its slopes down from the main road and is totally separated from site 14 by a wall of trees and bushes. Only can see a little bit of site 16 through gaps in the trees so felt very private. Its also a large site with tons of space to set up a hammock and a separate outdoor space from the tent site. Would definitely stay again!

This is a great, convenient/starter campground for us. We're avid campers, currently breaking in our 3 year old. So Dogwood provides a short commute for us, lots of nice facilities, lots of areas to explore, and very much gives the illusion of being farther away from civilization than it actually is. Friendly staff as well.

The environment is beautiful. Our site was beautiful. But: Camp host goes around the whole campground during the day with a frickin loud ass gas powered leaf blower. Absolutely unacceptable. You're in a forest. Leaves on the road is normal. Peace and beauty is what a lot of us are looking for when going to places like this.Campground seems very much set up for trailers and RVs, not tents. Most sites don't have level spots for tents and the photos on recereation.gov are useless. We had to resort to Yelp for picking a spot. The bathrooms are not great. There's no light during the day, some are very dark. Could never get hot water to come out of the faucet. Have to hold down the push button on some to keep water coming out, which makes it impossible to wash your hands. Mirrors suck. Can't shave. I don't mind lack of facilities, but for a lower price, further in the wildernis.Plenty of trails through beautiful forest around the campground, but absolutely no signs and far too many segways for that.Too close to the school. Wasn't too bad where our site was, but would very likely be very annoyed at some of the sites very close to the school.I guess, this isn't the place for us. We're better off going more into the wildernis.

This was our 2nd time here and had another fun trip! Very clean and friendly people working there. We enjoyed a super fun day at Sky Park. It's pricey, but worth the money.

Great location. Close to Lake Arrowhead, Blue Jay and Lake Gregory. Dogwood Trail is a very nice hike. Good facilities, clean and well kept camp sites.
