Weve been to Dogwood many times now and love the showers and flush toilets. Showers arent an additional cost and are separate from the restrooms. Restrooms have a flush toilet and a sink with soap. This specific site was nice, but just close to the neighbors. If the neighbors are talking loudly after quest hours, you will hear it. This site had two nice flat areas for tents. One for a smaller tent under some trees and another right behind the bear bin. Not too many bugs at this time (July). There were some wasps but not enough for us to put up the netted shade cover. We have AT&T and were able to have 2 bars. The parking spot is tricky for two cars. Looks like only one car could fit but we were able to squeeze a minivan and an SUV there legally.

Weve been to Dogwood quite a few times over the years and have absolutely loved our experience each time. Not far from Orange County, its a gem of a campground. From the moment you check in, youre greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff as you enter. Facilities are clean and in central locations. Campground lots are spread away from each other so you enjoy privacy at a nice distance. Lots are well maintained and clean. Great space, super secluded and exactly what you want in a campground!

This place was everything I thought it would be and more! I am used to dry (no flushing toilets, showers, drinking water) tent camping and this place offered the tent camping experience with the benefit of WATER! Beautiful clean facilities located all over the campsite (so you don’t have to walk far regardless of where you are located). The trees, wow, just gorgeous and smelled amazing! I went with my family who had never been camping before and they loved it! My 3 year old (who is a pro like her momma) did not want to leave and almost had a fit! Lakes are very close by if you want to fish or do any other water activities. The site itself has large paved paths for walking and biking, scootering etc. the trails there are Waldo very beautiful and we did them, without having to leave the campsite. Honestly, it was a bummer how hard it was to book it (fills fast) but I totally understand. I can’t wait to go back. I would go again this season if there are any openings! If you are reading this, book immediately and have fun! Even if you are not a camper I swear you will not be disappointed! God bless you, and God bless Dogwood campground! We
