Well maintained site, has shade, phone signal works. The closest restroom and showers were closed during our stay.

We love dogwood. Been going here consistently for a couple of years now, since we moved to Southern California. The campsites are always cleaned and raked beautifully. The bathrooms and showers are always taken care of. The camp hosts have always been courteous and helpful.

We love Dogwood and visit as frequently as possible. The forest setting is perfect, the sites are always well maintained, the bathroom facilities are clean and pleasant to use.....and the camp host are friendly and easy to approach. It's the BEST! Definitely a 5 Star***** camping location.

The campground was quiet and clean. Camp Hosts Heather & Dave and Karen & Pete were attentive, friendly and informative. Cant wait for my next trip to the mountains, I will definitely stay at Dogwood . Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Only thing was our neighbor, intruded on our site, complaining that we were to loud at 9:30pm. Quiet hours start at 10pm. It is what it is, I’ll be old some day soon too. 🤣

I’d love it if they brought back the education programs. As simple as a ranger-led hike or a presentation in the amphitheater would be awesome. We go the first weekend after school gets out and it’s a great break from the routine of school.

Great place to relax! Lots of families and kids having fun. Just about all of the campsites had lots of trees. Each campsite has a fire ring, picnic table and a bear box for your food and anything with a scent. Each site has a flat, rock-free area to pitch your tent. The campsites are spread far enough apart so you don't feel like you're camping on top of your neighbor. Other than firewood which is only sold at the entrance kiosk, there is no "store" to buy ice or other things. There is an easy, very shaded hiking trail that goes around the entire campground as well as a short nature trail. Once you're on the trail you'll come across many forks in the trail and no signs to tell you which way to go. It is easy to take the wrong turn-off. The bathrooms and showers are kept very clean. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Weve camped at Dogwood each of the last six years. The staff members are awesome. Friendly, kind, welcomingthey are the icing on the cake to a great campground.
